Sheriff Danny L. Glick

Sheriff Glick has worked his entire 30+ year career in Laramie County with the Sheriff's Office.

Sheriff Glick began his career as a Patrol Deputy in July of 1981. In 1985 Sheriff Glick was promoted to the Detective Division. In 1987 Sheriff Glick was transferred to the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigations, working drug investigations for two (2) years.

In 1989, Sheriff Glick transferred back to the Sheriff's Office, working in the Detective Division for one (1) year. In 1990 he transferred back to the Patrol Division. Sheriff Glick worked his way up the through the ranks from Corporal to Sergeant. He achieved the rank of Lieutenant during the Barrett administration.

In November 2002, the citizens of Laramie County elected Sheriff Glick for his first term as Sheriff, and was re-elected for his second term in 2006.

In 2007, Sheriff Glick was elected as President of the Wyoming Sheriff's Association, 4th Vice President of the Wyoming Sheriff's and Chief's of Police, and the Wyoming Representative to the Western States Sheriff's Association.

Sheriff Glick is also a member of the National Sheriff's Association's Drug Enforcement and Legislative Affairs committees, and Vice-Chair of Emergency Technologies.

In 2008, Sheriff Glick was elected to the NSA Board of Directors.

In 2009, Sheriff Glick was elected to the NSA's Executive Board, where he held the office of Sergeant at Arms.

In 2010, Sheriff Glick was elected to the office of Treasurer for the NSA's Executive Board.

In 2011, Sheriff Glick was elected to the office of Secretary, for the NSA's Executive Board.

During this time, Sheriff Glick was also selected as "Sheriff of the Year" by the Western States Sheriffs' Association.

In 2011Sheriff Glick was elected to the Executive Board of the Western States Sheriff's Association where he holds the office of Treasurer.

In 2012 Sheriff Glick was elected as the 3rd Vice President for the NSA's Executive Board. During the year 2012-2013 Sheriff Glick also held the office of President for the Wyoming Sheriffs' and Chiefs of Police (WASCOP) Association.

In 2012 Sheriff Glick was also appointed to the Governors Council on Impaired Driving.

In 2013, Sheriff Glick was elected as the 2nd Vice President for the NSA's Executive Board. Sheriff Glick was also selected to be on the State of Wyoming's Pari-Mutual Commission during this same year.

Sheriff Glick has over 2500 hours of law enforcement training and has several credit hours from Laramie County Community College.
