The “valuation” is a dollar figure that is the cost of the project and should include a fair market labor figure plus the fair market cost of materials. You can also think of the valuation as insurance replacement value. Residential projects (new, renovations and additions) are assessed a price per square foot value from which the fees are then calculated. Please see the links below for the current price per square foot schedule and the Building Permit fee schedule.
The applicable fees are to be submitted with the application. We gladly accept cash and checks for payment. Please make your checks payable to The Laramie County Treasurer.
Please contact our office (307) 633-4512 so that we may calculate your fees if your valuation is greater than $100,000.00
