The function of the Building Department staff is to ensure that all structures are built according to the adopted codes and resolutions and providing safe and healthy & working environments for the people of Laramie County. NEW PARCEL VIEWER...... Click here to access the updated Laramie County Parcel Viewer! You can check legal descriptions, view aerials, look at floodplains, check plats, check zoning, see ownership and so much more. Use the aerials to create a plot plan for your project. This site is updated nightly.

- Credit Card Payments:
We are conducting a survey right now regarding interest in using credit cards for payment of fees in our department. Please follow this link to the survey. Thank you for your opinion.
- New Permit Requirement: Please note the following permit requirement for all projects*…The landowner signature is now required as part of the application process. This requirement may be met by one of the following: either the landowner may sign the permit application or the write a letter giving consent to the contractor to apply for permits. (This may be mailed, emailed or faxed to our office.) *Exception: Permits for manufactured homes going into an established mobile home park and counter permits for small plumbing, mechanical and/or electrical projects do not need the landowner signature.
