Itinerant Food Inspections
Mission:
To protect against health hazards related to the conduct of the Temporary food service establishment, by assuring cleanliness in food handling, preparation and service is conducted in a sanitary way and by promoting temporary food service compliance with employee training and food sanitation guidelines and standards.
All events providing foods to the public shall be properly licensed. Bake sales are exempt as long as no potentially hazardous foods are served. No foods may be prepared at home.
The licensing fee for temporary food stands is $25.00 and is good for that event or 14 days only. Non profits are exempt from paying the fee but are still required to follow all rules and regulations.
A temporary food permit will need to be completed and returned to this office. |
